Charting the Course for IEBT's Future

Director of the IEBT Institute

Dr. Frantzou Jean-Baptiste, pastor and founder of several Christian ministries, is an iconic figure of faith and social action, whose influence extends across Haiti, the Dominican Republic, the United States and the Canada. Born on December 13, 1980 in Cavaillon, in the south of Haiti, he grew up in a family of four children, being the only boy. His education was marked by an exemplary academic career, having attended the Emmanuel primary school in Dumorne, also known as the Collège Mixte Yahvé Nissi, and the Blaise Pascal college for his secondary studies.

After graduating from GOC University with a degree in civil engineering, Dr. Frantzou Jean-Baptiste felt a deep calling toward pastoral ministry and theology. He undertook theological studies in several renowned schools in France, Ivory Coast and the United States, where he obtained several degrees in this field. His commitment to deepening his understanding of the Christian faith led him to earn a doctorate in divinity from Cornestone Christian University, USA, in July 2019.

During his pastoral career, Dr. Frantzou Jean-Baptiste founded several ministries that have left a lasting imprint in the communities where they operate. His ministries, present in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, the United States and Canada, have been catalysts for change and transformation, providing spiritual, educational and humanitarian support to those in need. His visionary leadership and unwavering dedication inspired many devotees to become involved in works of charity and social service.

As a pastor, Dr. Frantzou Jean-Baptiste was a passionate preacher and enlightened teacher, sharing the Word of God with clarity and conviction. His ministry touched the lives of thousands, bringing hope, healing and transformation to those in need. His commitment to social justice and equality has also been a distinctive feature of his work, inspiring others to engage in positive actions for the well-being of society.

Outside of his pastoral activities, Dr. Frantzou Jean-Baptiste is also a dedicated educator and mentor, investing in the training of future generations of spiritual leaders. His passion for theological education led him to establish training programs and seminars designed to equip young Christians for service in church and society. His legacy as a pastor, educator, and advocate for social justice will continue to influence and inspire generations to come.

It is with great joy and deep enthusiasm that I address these words to you on behalf of the entire team of the Institute of Biblical Theological Teaching (IEBT). We warmly welcome you and strongly encourage you to join us on this adventure of learning and spiritual growth.

We are here to support you on this journey, providing quality educational resources, pastoral support and a welcoming learning community.

Registration procedures Top of form

Registration arrangements at the Institute of Biblical and Theological Education (IEBT) are flexible, providing students with a variety of options to facilitate their access to our courses. Although we do not require a prior educational qualification, it is recommended that students have a sufficient level of French, as our courses are taught in this language. This ensures optimal understanding of the content and active participation in online discussions.

We have adopted an inclusive approach that recognizes the diversity of educational backgrounds and language proficiency levels among our prospective students. Our goal is to provide quality theological education to all who are eager to learn, regardless of their prior training or qualifications.

When it comes to registration requirements, we value motivation, engagement and a desire to learn in our students. We encourage everyone to apply, providing the necessary information to assess their suitability to take our courses and fully benefit from the learning experience.

Although we do not impose strict regulations on school leaving certificates, we welcome those who have one. However, we emphasize that motivation and determination are the main criteria for admission to IEBT, and that all who have a desire to learn are welcome.
